Harry Crouse
Harry
L. Crouse, P.G., 59, Chairman. Mr. Crouse is a Registered Professional
Geologist and has more than 30 years experience in the consulting
and construction industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree from
Franklin & Marshall College
and a master’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Crouse formed his first business, Earth Sciences Consultants,
Inc., in 1979 and grew the business through the addition of an environmental
laboratory and an environmental remediation firm. These companies
grew to 180 employees and $20 million in revenues by 1989 at which
time Mr. Crouse sold the three companies to American Waste Services
simultaneously with an IPO of AWS stock. At the expiration
of his non-compete in 1994, Mr. Crouse formed Crouse & Company
which provided engineering and consulting to the waste management
and environmental industries. Over the past four years, Mr.
Crouse has slowly diminished the size of Crouse & Company and
has finally closed it down to devote his full time attention to Keystone. |

Greg Shaffer
Gregory L. Shaffer, P.E., 45, President. Mr. Shaffer is a
Registered Professional Engineer and has over 18 years of experience
in consulting, construction and solid waste landfill management.
He holds two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree from
The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Shaffer began his career
in 1985 as a consultant with Earth Sciences Consultants, Inc. He
joined the Arnoni Group as a Vice President in 1991 where he managed
the operations, engineering and construction (approximately $20 million
over 4 years) for the M.C. Arnoni, Company, a large municipal waste
landfill. Following the sale of Arnoni to Waste Management,
Inc., Mr. Shaffer joined Crouse & Company in 1996 and until recently
managed all of Crouse & Company’s consulting practice.
Mr. Shaffer’s management of an active landfill and his consulting
experiences in the solid waste industry provide a unique combination
of understanding the technical aspects of solid waste management
and economics of the industry. Mr. Shaffer has developed key
relationships with many senior managers and executives of several
solid waste management companies. |

Sam Crouse
Samuel T. Crouse, 53, Vice President, Construction. Mr. Crouse
has more than 20 years of experience in the consulting and construction
industry. He received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s
degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He joined CRS (Earth
Sciences’ remediation group) in 1984 and began his career in
the environmental remediation business. He joined Crouse & Company
in 1994. He has conducted and managed construction and remediation
projects ranging from underground tank removals to multi-million
dollar environmental cleanup and site restoration projects. He
has built landfill gas collection systems, constructed municipal
waste landfills, and has been involved with residential and multi-million
dollar commercial building construction. Mr. Crouse manages
pipeline and plant construction for Keystone’s projects. |

Jake Crouse
A. Jacob Crouse, 35, Vice President of Operations. Mr. Crouse
has more than 13 years of experience in consulting, construction
management and administration. He received a bachelor’s
degree from Allegheny College. Mr. Crouse began his career
at Crouse & Company in the environmental remediation and construction
division. In addition to participating in and managing remediation
projects, he was active in the consulting practice. Mr. Crouse
plays a key role in equipment procurement, equipment installation,
and plant commissioning. He is also responsible for plant operations. |

Joe Santangelo
Joseph Santangelo, P.G., 41, Landfill Gas Production Manager.
Mr. Santangelo is a Registered Professional Geologist and has
more than 15 years of experience in consulting, construction,
and solid waste landfill management. He received a bachelor’s
degree from The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Santangelo
began his career at Chambers Development Company in 1989 where
he installed landfill gas extraction systems for several Pennsylvania
landfills. In
1994, he was employed by Handex Environmental Services, Inc. where
he managed remedial and construction projects and several landfill
gas recovery projects for the former Browning Ferris Industries Gas
Systems Group. He is responsible for managing landfill gas
collection fields to optimize gas quality and quantity and for maintaining
environmental compliance. |

Harry Finley
Harry Finley, 57, Process Plant Design. Mr. Finley has
over 25 years of treatment process design and project management
experience on domestic and international energy projects. He
has a bachelor of sciences degree in mechanical engineering
from the Texas A&M University and is a Project Management
Professional as certified by the Project Management Institute.
A significant part of Mr. Finley’s past activities have
been focused on offering modern project control technologies
and best in class design and project optimization techniques
to the landfill gas industry. Projects successfully completed
have included pressure swing adsorption, Selexol, refrigerated
methanol, membrane and limited clean-up (medium BTU) projects
in New York, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, California, Pennsylvania,
Kentucky, Indiana, and Texas. Mr. Finley’s recent
focus has been applying the process and project control techniques
that have been successful on a wide range of projects around
the United States and around the world to the challenges of
landfill methane recovery projects. Mr. Finley is responsible
for process and plant design and leads the team during plant
commissioning. He is also expert in troubleshooting plant
operational issues. |
